How will your office space look when America goes back to work?

Chances are most companies have or will be making significant changes to in-office workspace. Recent trends embraced an open, collaborative environment with office workers being in close proximity with few if any barriers to their workspace.

Will benching still be popular?

With social distancing rules being respected for the foreseeable future, we need to look at how we can create an environment that is safe, welcoming and productive.  Some companies will be working in shifts to allow workers to safely distance from each other within their current workspace.

The traditional 6’x6’ or 6’x8’ workstations with higher panels may become popular again by providing safe distancing versus the recent trend of the benching systems with smaller work areas and lower panels.

Conference rooms can be segmented to individual desks and eating lunch at your workstation to avoid congregating in breakrooms may be more prevalent.

Offices with patios or outdoor spaces can take better advantage of these spaces for group meetings and breaks.
